Anime-style vertical shooter game
SorcerialBladeCannon is a premium action game for PC by developer MACHINECODE. It is a 2D vertical shooter set in a futuristic sci-fi world and features an anime-inspired art style and presentation. In it, players will face endless waves of deadly robots and mechs using a variety of ships and weapons to deal with different situations.
Similar to Devil Blade Reboot or Alien Wars, SorcerialBladeCannon boasts simple and intuitive controls to complement its drop-and-go gameplay nature. It offers multiple game modes to choose from and various unlockable characters with distinct abilities and specializations to fit different play styles.
Blade cannon
SorcerialBladeCannon is essentially a vertical bullet hell shoot-em-up set in a sci-fi world where magic exists and is wielded by power sorceresses. You have two game modes available, namely Exercise Mode for practicing and the Main Mode to experience the core of the game. You can also choose from two difficulty levels, AC and EX, which are essentially your normal and hard difficulties.
What makes the game stand out is its distinct shooting system of three different shot types. The first two are your forward and wide shots for fighting enemies and wearing down specific portions of large bosses. They also provide you with sword badges to help fill your sword meter. Once full, you can unleash the laser shot type, which is basically a beam sword to cut through anything in sight.
There are multiple ships and characters to unlock offering different abilities and shooting styles to let you find the kind that's right for you. Now, despite its interesting shot system, other parts of the game feel underdeveloped. Some of them include the lack of proper hit feedback and sound effects, unclear hitboxes, and other bugs that still need to be addressed.
Needs more work
Overall, SorcerialBladeCannon is a fun and engaging bullet hell shoot-em-up with an interesting shooting mechanic that adds depth and strategy to the combat. That said, it's still rough around the edges and more work needs to be done, but it has the potential to be something great once its issues get addressed and fixed. Check it out and see for yourself.
